Wells Fargo Auto Bill Pay is a convenient and secure way to make payments on your auto loan. With Wells Fargo Online®, you can easily set up automatic payments, make payments online, by phone, by mail, or in-person.

Here are the steps to make a payment using Wells Fargo Auto Bill Pay:

  1. Sign on to your Wells Fargo Online® account.

  2. Select your auto loan from the Account Summary.

  3. Choose the payment method that works best for you:

    • Automatic payments: Set up automatic payments and choose which savings or checking account you’d like the money to come from each month. There’s no charge for enrollment, and you can easily change or cancel the automatic payments online.
    • Pay online: Make a payment immediately or schedule a payment up to 30 days in advance.
    • Pay by phone: Call 1-800-289-8004, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to use our automated system.
    • Pay by mail: Make your check or money order payable to Wells Fargo Auto. Be sure to fill in all sections of a money order. (Do not send cash.) Write your account number on your check or money order. Mail your payment to:

    Pay in person: You can make payments at any Wells Fargo banking location at no charge, and a Wells Fargo account is not required.

  4. Additional principal payments: If you’d like to pay more than the total amount due, on or before the due date, the additional amount will pay down your principal balance and will be applied to your next payment due. You can pay your account up to 3 months in advance. Once the account is paid ahead 3 months, additional funds go toward principal only.

To set up automatic payments, download and complete the automatic payment form (PDF), and return by mail. You can also make payments using MoneyGram® or Western Union®.

To make a payment online, sign on to your account and select your auto loan from the Account Summary. Select the payment method that works best for you, and follow the instructions to complete your payment.

How do I manage my Wells Fargo auto payment?

You may cancel your automatic payments through Wells Fargo Online or by calling Customer Service at 1-877-805-7744. To modify your automatic payments, please call Customer Service at 1-877-805-7744. It can take 30 – 60 days to process your new automatic payment enrollment form.

Can Wells Fargo do online bill pay?

You can access Bill Pay for the first time, from either your desktop or mobile device, if you have a Wells Fargo checking account and are enrolled in Wells Fargo Online. If you don’t have a Wells Fargo Online username and password, enroll now to get started. Then, just sign on to Wells Fargo Online to access Bill Pay.

How to add Wells Fargo auto loan to online banking?

Sign on to your account with your username and password. If you don’t see your auto loan listed under Account Summary, you can add it under Account Settings. Note: This option is not available on the Wells Fargo mobile app.
