Who owns Navajo Tribal utility Authority?

In 1959 the Navajo Tribal Utility Authority was established as a tribal enterprise by Navajo leaders because the utility needs of the Navajo people were not being met by utilities operating on the Navajo Nation. Therefore, they created NTUA – 100 percent Navajo-owned and operated utility company.
