Bill Payment Options

As a resident of Placer County, it’s important to stay on top of your water bill payments to ensure continuous service and avoid any late fees. The Placer County Water Agency (PCWA) offers several convenient ways to pay your bill, both online and offline. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the different payment options and provide you with all the necessary information to make your payment quickly and easily.

Online Payment Options

The PCWA offers three online payment options:

  1. Pay Online with credit card or electronic check: You can log in to your account through the PCWA’s payment portal and pay your bill using a credit card or electronic check. Payments made prior to 3:00 pm will be posted in one business day.
  2. Automated Phone System: You can call (530) 823-4850 option #1 to use the automated phone system to pay with a credit card between hours 4:00 am and 11:00 pm, 7 days a week. Payments made prior to 9:00 pm will be processed the next business day.
  3. E-Check: You can also pay your bill using an e-check, which is a secure and free payment method that withdraws the payment directly from your checking account.

Offline Payment Options

If you prefer to pay in person or by mail, the PCWA offers the following offline payment options:

  1. In Person at PCWA’s Business Center: You can pay your bill in person with cash, check, or money order at the PCWA Business Center at 144 Ferguson Road, Auburn. The business center is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. An after-hours night lock box is available for payments (checks or money orders only). Payments received after 8:00 am are processed the next business day.
  2. By Mail (Lock box): You can mail your payment to: Placer County Water Agency, PO Box 511377, Los Angeles, CA 90051-7932. Refund Policy: After applying deposits & credit balances to any amounts owed by a customer, the agency refunds remaining credit balances via an agency check issued to the name and mailing address on the final account, usually within 30 days of the final statement.

PCWA Water Energy Stewardship Overlay

The PCWA is committed to protecting the environment and conserving water resources. As part of their Water Energy Stewardship Overlay program, the agency offers rebates and incentives to encourage water conservation and efficient irrigation practices. Educational Outreach Program

Paperless Billing Available

Customers can now receive bill notifications via text and email. Log into your account through the Paymentus portal and toggle the Paperless option to YES.
