Paying Your MUB Bill: A Guide to Online and In-Person Payment Options
Paying your Morgantown Utility Board (MUB) bill has never been easier, with various online and in-person payment options available. This guide will take you through the different payment methods, so you can choose the one that suits you best.
Online Payment Options
MUB offers two online payment options: Pay My Bill and Pay At Our Office.
Pay My Bill

Pay At Our Office
Alternatively, you can pay your bill at MUB’s office located at 210 West Main Street, Morgantown, WV 26501. Office hours are from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. You can use the drive-thru for paying your bill, which is located at the main office building.
If you prefer to pay in person, you can do so at the customer service desk during office hours. Please bring your bill and payment method (cash, credit card, or check) with you.

Payment Drop Box
MUB has a secure drop box located on the island of their 278 Greenbag Road office parking area. You can deposit your payment, along with the payment stub, into the drop box anytime, 24/7.

You can also pay your bill over the phone by calling MUB’s customer service at (304) 292-8443. Please have your bill and credit card ready when calling.
Pay by Mail
If you prefer to pay by mail, you can send your payment and stub to MUB using the enclosed envelope provided with your utility bill.
Monthly Payment Options
MUB offers monthly payment options for customers on limited incomes. You can opt-in for monthly billing, which will allow you to receive a bill on a monthly basis instead of bi-monthly.
To register for monthly billing, follow these steps:
- Sign up for paperless billing by clicking on the “Paperless Options” link on your online customer portal.
- Sign up for AutoPay by clicking on the “AutoPay” link on your online customer portal.
- Once you’ve completed steps 1 and 2, go to the Monthly Billing Option registration page and submit your application. A customer service representative will contact you to finalize the process.
Alternatively, you can make voluntary pre-payments on your account by phone, in person, or by mail. Pre-payments will be applied to your account upon receipt, reducing the amount due on your next bill.
