Online Bill Pay
You can register for an online account and save your billing information to use month-to-month OR you can use the Paymentus system to enter your information on a one-time use basis.
- Register for an Online Utility Account:
a. Go to the City of Longmont’s website: https://www.longmontcolorado.gov/
b. Click on “Departments” in the top menu bar
c. Select “Finance” from the dropdown menu
d. Click on “Utility Billing” in the left-hand menu
e. Click on “My Account/Billing”
f. Click on “Register for a new RESIDENTIAL online account” or “Register for a new BUSINESS online account”
g. Fill out the required information, including your account number, and click “Next”
h. Create a username and password, and click “Next”
i. Review the terms and conditions, and click “Agree”
j. You will receive an email to verify your account. Click on the verification link in the email to activate your account.

You can also pay your utility bill in person at the Utility Billing window in the Civic Center Mall.
- Go to the Civic Center Mall, located at 350 Kimbark St.

- Bring your utility bill statement and payment method (cash, check, or credit/debit card).
- Wait in line and present your bill and payment to the customer service representative.
Important Information
Please note that when you update your billing address and phone numbers through the Utility Bill Pay website, your information does not update the main Utility Billing System. Please call 303-651-8664 during normal business hours with your utility billing account information so that we can make sure that we have your correct mailing address and phone number to contact you regarding City services.
Paying Your NextLight Bill
NextLight™, Longmont’s broadband internet service from Longmont Power & Communications, is billed separately from other City services. If you are a NextLight customer, you can go here to pay your NextLight broadband bill: https://secure1.longmontcolorado.gov/
- Click on “Pay My NextLight Bill”
- Enter your account number and click “Next”
- Choose your payment method (credit/debit card or e-check) and click “Next”
