Pay My Utility Bill – City of Geneva

Paying your utility bill in the City of Geneva has become more accessible and convenient. The city offers an online payment portal that allows residents to pay their bills online, view their consumption history, and manage their accounts.

To make a payment, residents can visit the City of Geneva’s Utility Billing Portal and follow these steps:

1. Click on the “Pay My Utility Bill” button.
2. Select the type of payment you want to make (one-time payment or reoccurring payment).
3. Choose your payment method (credit/debit card or eCheck).
4. Enter your account number and the amount you want to pay.
5. Review your information and click “Next” to complete the payment process.

Residents can also enroll in AutoPay, which allows for automatic payments to be deducted from their chosen payment method on the due date. To enroll in AutoPay, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your online utility account.
2. Click on “Account Options” and select “AutoPay Enrollment.”
3. Choose your payment method (credit/debit card or eCheck).
4. Enter your account number and the amount you want to pay.
5. Review your information and click “Next” to complete the enrollment process.

For those who prefer to pay in person or by mail, the City of Geneva also accepts payments at the Finance Department located at 15 S. First St., Geneva, IL 60134. Residents can also use the City’s dropboxes or mail their payments to the address listed on the utility bill.
