If you’re a customer of Ute Water Conservancy District, you have the convenience of paying your water bill online. This guide will walk you through the steps to make an online payment and highlight the benefits of using the district’s automatic draft program.

Pay My Bill Online

To pay your water bill online, visit the Ute Water Conservancy District’s website at www.utewater.org/paymybill. You’ll need to have your account number handy, which can be found on your bill statement.

Once you’ve navigated to the website, click on the “Pay My Bill” tab at the top of the page. You’ll be directed to a secure payment portal, where you can choose to pay your bill using a credit or debit card, or an electronic fund transfer (EFT) from your checking or savings account.

Please note that there is a $1.50 convenience fee added to your payment amount for all credit card transactions. If you choose to pay by EFT, there will also be a $1.50 convenience fee.

Before submitting your payment, you’ll need to read and agree to the terms outlined on the website. These terms include understanding that Xpress Bill Pay, LLC, the third-party vendor providing the payment service, is not a branch, office, or department of Ute Water Conservancy District.

Schedule Your Payment on Time

When paying your bill online, make sure to schedule your payment at least two business days before the due date to avoid late fees. It may take 2-3 banking business days for bank processing and posting to your account.

Delinquent Accounts

If your account is delinquent, you have received a shut-off notice, or if you are currently disconnected, you’ll need to contact the district office prior to making your payment to assure you are paying the correct amount. You’ll need to verify that your payment has been made by calling the office at (970) 242-7491. If this confirmation effort is not made, you risk being locked off and/or remaining locked off until the payment has been completely processed, which can take 2-3 business days.

Automatic Draft Program

Ute Water Conservancy District’s automatic draft program offers convenience and dependability to its busy customers. After signing up for the program, your water bill will be automatically withdrawn from your checking account on the due date.

To enroll in the automatic draft program, visit the district’s website at www.utewater.org/paymentoptions. Download the Automatic Draft Form and return it to the district office with a voided check.

Once you’ve enrolled in the program, you’ll receive a message on your bill stating, “Amount will be drafted on or around the due date.” The due date is always 10 days after the bill date. The amount of the bill will be automatically withdrawn from your checking account. The transaction will never exceed the amount due on the bill.

You can stop the automatic draft program at any time by notifying the district in writing. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact one of the district’s customer service representatives.

Paying your Ute Water Conservancy District bill online is a secure and easy process. By following the steps outlined above, you can make a payment using a credit or debit card, or an electronic fund transfer.
