Online Payment Options

For those who prefer the convenience of online payments, the City of Smyrna offers a secure and easy-to-use platform through its Citizen Self Service Portal. With just a few clicks, you can manage and pay your utility bills using your credit or debit card. To register for a new account or access an existing one, simply log in using the portal link provided on the City’s website.

When paying online, please note that there is a transaction fee applied to your payment. However, this fee does not apply to automatic bank draft, personal bank online bill pay, mailed payments, or checks placed in the night drop. Additionally, there is a $500 daily cap on credit/debit card payments made through the online portal. If your bill exceeds $500, you can opt for the e-check option through the online portal or use one of the other payment methods described below.

Bank Draft

Another convenient option for paying utility bills is setting up a monthly bank draft. By signing up for this service, your payment will be automatically deducted from your checking or savings account on the last working day of each month. You’ll receive a reminder on your bill stating that you’re enrolled in the bank draft program, and you can always pay via a different method if you prefer. If you wish to cancel the bank draft option or close the account, please notify the City’s office in writing at least five business days before the due date.

Personal Bank Online Bill Pay

If your bank offers online bill pay, you can use this option to pay your utility bills. Simply include your water customer number, found on your statement, with your payment submission through your bank’s online bill pay website.

To pay your utility bills by mail, send your check or money order, along with the payment coupon, to the following address:

Pay in Person

You can also pay your utility bills in person at the Utility Services office, located on the first floor of Smyrna City Hall (2800 King Street, Smyrna, GA 30080). The drive-up window and night drop are located on the back side of City Hall off Village Walk. Village Walk can be accessed from Stephens Street or Bank Street. The office accepts Visa, MasterCard, debit, check, or cash payment options.

The office is open Monday through Friday (except official City holidays), with the drive-up window open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and the inside office open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The night drop is available 24/7, but please note that no cash payments are allowed in the drop box.
