Pay Your Utility Bill | Anchorage Water and Wastewater Utility

AWWU makes it easy for you to pay your utility bill. You can choose from several payment options that are convenient for you.

Online Payments

You can create a secure online account to view bill statements electronically, access your payment history, set up autopay, and go paperless and receive your bills by email.

To make a one-time payment, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the AWWU Payment Portal.
  2. Select “Create a New Profile” and follow the prompts to create your profile.
  3. After creating your profile, you will receive an email with a link to verify your email address. Click on the link to verify your email.
  4. Log in to your profile and select “Make a Payment.”
  5. Enter your payment information and submit your payment.

Automated Phones

You can pay 24 hours a day using a MasterCard, Visa, or electronic check through our interactive voice response system at (907) 564-2700 or toll-free at (866) 650-2700.

By Mail

You can use the pre-addressed envelope included in your bill or mail to:

In Person

You can also pay in person at our customer service lobby, which is available Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Exception: Phones and lobby open at 9:00 AM on the first and third Wednesday of each month.

Please note that payments or documents received after 2:30 PM will be processed the next business day.

Drop Box

A drop box is available 24 hours a day, east of the utility entrance at 3000 Arctic Blvd.
