Pay a Water Bill Online
You can pay your water bill online using MyPhillyWaterBill, the City’s water bill payment website. With MyPhillyWaterBill, you can:
- Pay your water bill online
- View your water bill
- Check your water usage
- Set up automatic payments
- Update your account information
To pay your water bill online, follow these steps:
- Go to MyPhillyWaterBill
- Click on “Pay Your Water Bill”
- Enter your Water Access Code (found on your bill) and ZIP code
- Select how you want to pay (automatic bank payments, credit card, check or money order, or eCheck)
- Follow the prompts to complete your payment
Note: A convenience fee applies to credit card payments.
Other Ways to Pay Your Water Bill
You can also pay your water bill by mail, phone, or in person. Here are the details:
- By Mail: Mail in the return portion of your bill with a check or money order, made payable to: Water Revenue Bureau, P.O. Box 41496, Philadelphia, PA 19101-1496.
- By Phone: Pay through an interactive voice system by calling (877) 309-3709.
- In Person: Visit one of our three authorized payment centers:
- Center City: Municipal Services Building, 1401 JFK Blvd., Concourse Level, Philadelphia, PA 19101-1496.
- Northeast Philadelphia: 7522 Castor Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19150-2702.
- North Philadelphia: Hope Plaza, 22nd & Somerset Street, Philadelphia, PA 19133-2701.

When you pay your water bill, the payment is applied to your account in the following order:
- Sundry invoices (e.g., bad check fees, meter tamper charges, and lien fees)
- Penalties and interest
- Stormwater charges
- Water and sewer service and usage charges
- Sewer service
- Water service
- Sewer usage
- Water usage
Get an Old Water Bill
You can use MyPhillyWaterBill to find and print water bills for the last 13 months. If you need a copy of an older water bill, please contact the Water Revenue Department at (215) 685-6300 or visit us in the Municipal Services Building Concourse Level at 1401 John F. Kennedy Blvd.
